GREAT PRODUCTS & TECHNOLOGY
Skyline’s philosophy is to supply and install systems that are going to provide high efficiency and remain reliable over many years into the future. There is a significant difference in components available so beware when considering a solar PV system. Naturally products will evolve but take a look at our current component credentials. SOLAR PHOTOVOLTAIC MODULES
Being an important part of the system, we only use top quality Solar PV Modules. All Solar PV Modules we install are TUV & MCS certified/approved. German TUV approved (equivalent to British standards). What’s more they are supremely reliable – in fact we’ve never had to replace a panel due to breakdown!
MOUNTING SYSTEMS INCLUDING ONTO FLAT ROOFS AND GROUND
We only use the right fixings for the specific job in hand to ensure safety and security of the system and so that we don’t damage the tiles and structure of the existing roof. When it comes to installations on to flat roofs, Absolute have a unique purpose designed mount that makes installation quick and simple without the need to drill into the flat roof itself.
A system at ground level is always an option and with our specific mounting consoles made from maintenance free material ensures an efficient and neat installation.
INVERTERS
These units convert the DC power generated by the Modules into usable AC power for the home. One of the functions of the inverter is to switch the system’s effectiveness between cloudy and sunny conditions. Inferior systems can take 2 or 3 minutes to switch but ours only take 1.4 seconds! Doesn’t sound much but think of the energy generation benefits over the lifetime of the system. Reliability too is second to none.
SKYLINE SOLAR HYBRID BATTERY SYSTEM
Revolutionary SolaX Hybrid battery storage. In the past, battery storage for solar PV systems have been uneconomical for most households and lifestyles, with short life spans and very bulky lead based batteries. However, with the revolutionary SolaX Hybrid Battery System that’s no longer the case.
For the first time in the UK, it represents a leap in inverter and lithium battery technology making household power storage a reality.
How does it work?
The concept is simple: while your solar array is generating energy during daylight, the system will firstly power your usage, subsequently the extra generation will charge the batteries in the system. Once fully charged, if there is any extra it will be fed back into the national grid. When the array ceases to generate electricity, the inverter will pull the free stored energy from the Hybrid Battery System to power your usage. Only when the System is ’empty’, does the system take power from the grid.
